Earth’s climate is changing. IBM’s new geospatial foundation model could help track and adapt to a new landscape

How can you prepare your business for increasingly harsh weather — from Category 4 and 5 hurricanes to droughts, fires and floods? IBM’s Environmental Intelligence Suite with a new geospatial foundation model can help. Developed by IBM in collaboration with NASA, the model converts NASA’s satellite observations into customized maps of natural disasters and other environmental changes.

The new model, which is part of IBM’s watsonx.ai geospatial offering, will be available through IBM’s Environmental Intelligence Suite (EIS) later in 2024.

Learn how EIS and geospatial modeling can help you estimate climate-related risks to infrastructure and to develop predictive models to create strategies to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
